Equipment guide: what to enhance for tanks and damage heroes

Know which material bill belongs to the upgrade you are planning.

Players deciding where Enhancement Ore and coins should go.

The short answer

Crafting, enhancement and stars are three separate bills. Choose a piece for the hero who will use it, then budget the exact remaining level range. More rarity or a larger full-curve total does not automatically mean the best next purchase.

Choose the stat your hero needs

For a frontliner losing the fight early, compare Armor and Greaves before prioritizing attack only. For an active damage hero, inspect the Sword and Bracers that add ATK. The recorded attributes support this role-based starting choice; they do not prove a universal equipment order.

Read the actual piece. Royal equipment has additional PvE wording in its reference attributes, so a rarity label alone does not explain the difference between two pieces in a particular mode.

Give the right starting stats to the right job

The unenhanced UR King’s pieces illustrate why the slot matters. Sword and Bracers add ATK; Armor and Greaves are more heavily weighted toward survival. This supports a role-based allocation, not a claim that one piece wins every fight.

Full enhancement curves for comparison

These are reference totals from level 0 for a single piece, not the remaining bill for an already-developed item. Crafting and stars are excluded. MR availability is not established and is not part of this comparison.

Reach a useful level without starving the rest of the account

Keep the current level of each piece in the comparison. A piece already at 30 needs 30 → 40, not the entire new-piece bill. Compare the next affordable improvement across the active squad rather than forcing every slot to the same level.

Ore and coins are separate shortages. If the front cannot survive, improving its useful defensive piece may matter more than the last expensive damage level on a rear hero. Confirm the result in similar fights.

Crafting and stars are later, separate bills

Enhancing a piece does not create it. If you do not own the item, check its crafting materials first. The complete exact recipe table is not available, so a blank recipe is not free equipment.

The recorded UR star track starts at enhancement level 40. Pig Iron and drafts appear there alongside Ore and coins. A UR draft reserve cannot replace the enhancement work needed to become eligible.

Common equipment mistakes

  • Improving an unused piece while the active front row lacks survival.
  • Treating ATK, HP and DEF as interchangeable power.
  • Counting one piece as equipped by two heroes.
  • Forgetting coins because the Ore stock looks sufficient.
  • Assuming dismantling refunds every material without reading the preview.

Before you commit

  • Piece attributes and hero role matched.
  • Crafting cost kept separate.
  • Current equipment level and useful next milestone checked.
  • Shared stock deducted once.
  • Planned equipment owners checked.

Common questions

Does the enhancement total include crafting?

No. It budgets the level transitions of a piece. Crafting and later star costs need their own covered or observed prices.
