Work backward from Soldier X
The Top Lords Soldier X preview unlocks level 10 soldier training. Its final gate requires Any Scholar Tower level 30 and Advanced Armor X, Weapon Training X and Defense Training X at level 20. The earlier research levels and branches are also part of the path.
The research planner expands the recorded requirements backward from your goal, includes intermediate levels and subtracts the progress you have already completed. It counts shared prerequisites once.
Follow requirements across trees
The T10 path includes Alliance Duel and Super Reward prerequisites as well as Royal Guard research. A diagram that only shows the final Royal Guard nodes can leave out real requirements elsewhere.
Open a research node to inspect its next-level requirements. The tree shows locked nodes and highlights technologies needed by the current goal. Cross-tree links take you to the other required research trees; their costs stay in the same budget.
Use the example as a benchmark
With all supported prerequisite buildings already at their caps and all personal research starting at zero, the current reference closure has 239 research upgrade steps. Its base cost is 4,550,677,500 wood, 4,550,677,500 food, 12,286,835,900 coins and 403,900 research medals.
Those are reference research-only totals for a clearly defined starting point. They exclude the cost of reaching the building caps. Enter your own completed levels for a personal budget. The combined example starting from Castle 20 includes 289 steps, of which 50 are building upgrades.
Distinguish progress from targets
Use each node’s level selector to enter completed research. Setting a future goal highlights and budgets its path; it does not complete the nodes for you. With prerequisite reconciliation enabled, editing a completed node fills its required research levels. Building progress stays separate, and Undo restores the prior draft.
Base work is the sum of research durations. It is not a calendar wait estimate. Account bonuses, alliance help, resources and queue availability are separate.
The final gate, in plain terms
Soldier X is the research unlock for level 10 soldier training. Its final research preview names three level-20 requirements and a level-30 Scholar Tower. Training the soldiers also requires the Barracks gate. Research access and training access are two checks, so don't stop after seeing one green requirement.
The planner follows the earlier levels behind those requirements. This matters because Royal Guard does not stand alone. Alliance Duel and Super Reward requirements can add a real detour even if the Royal Guard diagram looks nearly finished.
| Requirement | Required state |
|---|---|
| Advanced Armor X | Level 20 |
| Weapon Training X | Level 20 |
| Defense Training X | Level 20 |
| Any Scholar Tower | Level 30 |
| Barracks for T10 training | Level 30, plus Soldier X |
Build your remaining route, not a zero-account bill
Enter the research levels you have actually finished across every tree. Then set Soldier X as the target. Review the required-path highlights and open the cross-tree links. A missing requirement should have a named step; it should not be hidden in a large total you cannot inspect.
Keep an eye on the currency that runs out first. T10 asks for ordinary resources and research medals, but those stocks are not interchangeable. A resource reduction on wood, food or coins does not make the medal requirement smaller.
- Record completed research across the relevant trees.
- Set Soldier X as the goal without changing completed levels.
- Inspect cross-tree research and required buildings.
- Check known totals, missing coverage and your medal shortfall.
- Choose an affordable intermediate stop and save the target.
Decide when to commit
A major T10 push competes with the rest of your account for coins and queue time. If your main squad or daily rewards are still struggling, compare the full detour with an upgrade that improves what you can do now. There is no universal day on which every account should start the final push.
Use a staged reserve. Know what pays for the next required research, what is reserved for buildings and what is still missing. When you compare two goals, start both from the same completed baseline. Otherwise the cheaper-looking option may simply assume work that the other option includes.
After finishing a requirement, record that actual level and refresh the plan. Don't mark the full target complete just to make the tree look tidy. Planning is allowed to fill a route; completed progress should describe what exists in your game.
Before you commit
- Soldier X selected as a future target.
- All relevant trees have accurate completed levels.
- Scholar Tower and Barracks gates checked.
- Medals separated from discounted resources.
- An affordable intermediate target chosen.
Common questions
Can I get T10 just by upgrading Barracks to 30?
No. The recorded training unlock also needs Soldier X, which has its own research path and Scholar Tower gate.
Why are there Alliance Duel nodes in a T10 plan?
The recorded dependency path crosses research trees. Those requirements are part of the route, even though the final Soldier X node is in Royal Guard.
