Wall of Honor: how to unlock it and spend spare shards

Unlock the Wall of Honor and decide when to spend spare hero shards on it.

The short answer

Raise the relevant faction building to 20 and reach five stars on an eligible hero. Honor then uses Hero Shards for a separate progression track, with faction-wide milestones at 50, 100, 150 and 200. Compare the next milestone with unfinished heroes before spending universal shards.

Unlocks and faction-wide Honor milestones

Open the relevant faction building after it reaches level 20. A five-star hero belongs on that faction’s Wall of Honor. The milestone benefit has faction scope; it is different from the same-faction formation bonus.

What Honor levels do
Requirement or milestoneWhat changes
Faction building Lv.20Unlocks that faction’s Wall of Honor
Hero at five starsHero is added to the faction’s Wall
Spend Hero ShardsRaise that hero’s Honor level
Honor Lv.50 / 100 / 150 / 200Unlock additional attribute boosts for all heroes of the same faction

Where to open the feature

Use Tribe Forge for Tribe, Legion Bastion for Legion or Ranger Retreat for Ranger. Open the level-20 faction building and its Wall of Honor, then choose a five-star hero to inspect the next price and benefit.

Raising one faction building does not establish Honor access for all three factions. Check the faction you want to improve before upgrading a building purely for this feature.

Choose a faction milestone rather than scattering levels

The listed levels 50, 100, 150 and 200 add attribute benefits for heroes in that faction. This gives a reason to compare distance to the next milestone, rather than spending evenly on several factions you barely use.

Prefer a target that helps your developed formation. Read the precise milestone effect in the preview; a faction-wide benefit is not automatically universal in a mixed squad or applicable to Lord.

Specific surplus shards versus flexible universal shards

Specific shards for an already-five-star hero have a different opportunity cost from universal shards that could complete an unfinished main-squad hero. Compare those unfinished star milestones before spending the flexible pool on Honor.

Do not treat all spare shards as one currency. Honor is separate from the standard 975-shard zero-to-five-star track, and a shard belonging to a different hero is not automatically eligible.

Read the next price without inventing the full bill

The current references explain the gates and milestones but do not provide the full exact per-level price curve. Use the visible price for the selected hero and step. A first button price repeated fifty times is not a supported milestone budget.

You can still decide whether the next upgrade is useful and affordable. Keep a distant target conditional until its required prices are known.

Before you commit

  • Correct faction building reaches 20.
  • Eligible hero is five stars.
  • Next faction milestone and effect inspected.
  • Specific surplus separated from universal shards.
  • Exact current price checked before spending.

Common questions

Where is Wall of Honor?

Open the level-20 Tribe Forge, Legion Bastion or Ranger Retreat for that faction, then its Wall of Honor. Eligible five-star heroes appear there.

Are Honor buffs the same as the 3/4/5 matching-hero formation bonus?

No. Honor is persistent faction progression with its own milestones. Formation composition is a separate bonus, and their scopes must be read separately.
