One Lord, any faction
You have one Lord, rather than two separately recruitable male and female heroes. The Lord has its own faction identity and can count toward Tribe, Legion or Ranger formations.
The formation reference treats Lord as a wildcard for the strongest available matching-faction bonus. This does not make faction-restricted building, research or skill effects interchangeable. Check those effects separately.
Planning a squad
The squad planner includes a single Lord slot. Assign your Lord once when planning simultaneous squads, then compare the formation bonus with and without that slot.
Skills and upgrade coverage
A verified Lord-specific skill and base-cost table is not available in the current reference dataset. Named-hero skill values and upgrade tables are not substituted for it.
