Equip your active five

Keep usable lower-rarity gear until replaced. Improve equipped pieces before unused ones.

Give your carry useful ATK

Joan / Attila: compare Sword first, then Bracers. Use 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 as budget checkpoints.

Fix a weak front row

Ragnar / Sanada falling early? Move Armor and Greaves ahead of more damage gear.

Let Charles survive to buff

Fund useful survival first. His damage slots can wait while your carry or tanks need more.

Reach 40 on a useful piece

Compare its next star with useful levels elsewhere. Do not leave the rest of the squad behind.

Reserve the right materials

Stars need Pig Iron and drafts. The fifth star uses MR drafts; check current eligibility.

Carry, frontline, support: spend on the job that is holding the squad back. This is a starting strategy, not a proven best order.

Level 40 is the start of the star bill

The final substep of every star costs
