Plunder, load limits and reduced rewards

Keep Castle loot, carrying capacity and separate event plunder counters apart.

Players trying to understand a small plunder return or plan a march.

The short answer

Check exposed stock, carrying allowance and remaining daily limits separately. More squad load does not create loot that is protected or already reduced. The attack still needs a legal, worthwhile target and a loss budget.

Identify the loot you are planning

Castle resource raids, Trade Wagon cargo, Bounty Tasks and Alliance Cargo Ships use different rules. Do not spend one counter on paper as though it were another. Identify the target and inspect its current remaining opportunity.

For Castle resources, account for your squad’s actual load and the target’s protected resources. Winning a battle does not mean every resource shown can be carried home.

Use the live yield warning

The reference contains internal data-level thresholds with reduced-yield bands. Their mapping to player state is not established. Do not select a row by assuming its data level is your Castle level. Use the reduction the game currently shows.

Build a conservative estimate from available loot, shown yield and carrying capacity. It is a capacity budget, not a prediction that the attack succeeds or the target remains unchanged.

Compare net progress

After a raid, compare the loot received with troop losses, recovery costs and the time a march was unavailable. A win can still be a poor way to fund the next upgrade.

Gold Mine Conquest’s recorded rules say attacks do not plunder Castles there. City Funds are also separate from loose Castle resources. Check the active rules instead of transferring the normal-raid calculation.

Find the limit that is actually binding

A march can be limited by the available loot, carrying capacity or a mode-specific daily restriction. Increasing one does not remove the others. If the return is smaller than expected, inspect those conditions before blaming the squad's damage.

Keep Castle plunder separate from Trade Wagon, Bounty Task and cargo rules. They may use different attempt limits, reward reductions and protection conditions. The same word plunder does not make them one shared formula.

Why a return can be smaller than expected
CheckWhat it means
Exposed resourcesNot every stored unit is necessarily available
Squad loadThe march has a carrying allowance
Reward-reduction bracketLater loot may be reduced
Remaining attempts or limitThe action may have a separate daily cap
Kingdom protectionThe target may be covered by active laws

Budget net gain rather than gross loot

Compare the expected usable return with likely losses, travel and recovery. A bigger number on the loot line can still be a poor trade if it disrupts your next event or leaves the hospital bill unfunded.

The load helper estimates an entered single-resource allowance. It does not predict the battle, discover live exposed stock or settle which target your alliance permits. Confirm those outside the budget.

Before you commit

  • Target permitted by alliance and kingdom rules.
  • Exposed stock checked.
  • Load and daily restrictions separated.
  • Recovery cost considered.
  • Different plunder modes not mixed.

Common questions

Does a larger squad guarantee more loot?

No. Load can help only when carrying capacity is the limiting factor. Protection, exposed stock, reductions, limits and the battle itself still apply.
