How the calculation works
Five substeps make one star. Recruitment and promotion unlock costs are separate. Only regular hero variants are offered here.

Open Heroes, choose the hero, then open Stars. Read the full stars and the filled substeps toward the next star. Specific and universal shards are separate inventory inputs.
