Resource reduction applies to wood, food and coins, not research medals. A 10% speed bonus divides time by 1.10: 60 minutes becomes about 54 minutes 33 seconds. Timers are rounded per upgrade.

How do bonuses affect the result?
Research time = base time ÷ (1 + speed bonus / 100). A 10% speed bonus turns one hour of base work into 54 minutes 33 seconds. Timers round up per upgrade.
Resource reductions apply to wood, food and coins. Research medals stay unchanged. Use Settings to enter bonuses, subtract inventory or include unfinished buildings.
